지난달에 사두었던 청춘18티켓이 오늘까지라는 사실을 뒤늦게 알아차리고는, 벼르고 있던 시모다로 떠났다.

시모다에 도착하여 고른 런치메뉴,시모다 특대!우동! 500cc생맥주컵을 초라하게 만든다. 완전 배부름^^

relaxing okinawa 2nd day

okinawa has a relaxing atmosphere; cars go very slowly. there are lion figures in front of the door in every house, various kinds of clouds, festivals with traditional music; the sea is in contact with the Pacific; the sun is dazzling. these aspects made me relaxed.
자동차도 답답할 정도로 느리게 다니는 오키나와는 전체적으로 릴렉스한 분위기다. 집집마다 장식되어 있는 시사와 갖가지 모양의 구름, 태평양까지 맞닿아있는 바다, 강한 태양, 오키나와의 전통음악과 함께 펼쳐지는 마쯔리에 둘러쌓여 RELAX.


end of trip

on the last day we droped in at Nago paradise, Turaumi aquarium, Emerald beach, Busena terrace resort and returned to Tokyo by a night plane. i suffered a few hard days because of my boiled red back, but i have many memories from this trip. i can still hear the melody of traditional okinawan music.
아직도 오키나와의 전통가락이 귓전에 맴돈다. 마지막날엔 나고파라다이스, 츄라우미수족관, 에메랄드비치, 부세나테라스리조트...를 들러서.. 밤비행기로 토쿄에 돌아왔다. 붉게 익어버린 등과 장딴지 때문에 며칠간 고생할 듯 하지만, 즐거운 추억이 있으니까, 나쁘지 않구나.

Business trip: LA May 10, 2006

E3엑스포의 리포트를 위해 출장, 내일부터는 빡쌘 일과가 시작되겠지만, 오늘은 픽업나와준 클쓰와 일단.. 산타모니카를 거닐고, 지나가던 길에 코리안타운에서 김치와 깍두기를 한가득 담아주는 감동의 순대국밥을 먹고(일본에 살다보니, 이제 이런 한가득 담아주는 것은 완전감동.) 글렌데일에 도착, 이쁜 쏘이와의 조우~ , 쏘이랑, 클쓰랑 선물로 사온 센베 먹으면서 빠나나의 퇴근을 기다리는 중.
A business trip for the reporting of the E3expo. tomorrow should be a hard day, but today, first of all, i took a stroll along the beach of Santa monica with chris, who picked me up. we ate korean food in the korean town. it was really delicoius; and it tasted more korean in America than japan. how fun! upon arrival in Glendale, i met Ssoy, a cute black cat. i am eating senbei with chris and ssoy and waiting for Banana to come home.

1st day of E3  May 11, 2006

클쓰와의 브런치ㅎㅎ배터짐. 이거 먹고 밤10시까지 아무것도 안먹었다. E3가 열리는 LA컨벤션센터, 캘리포니아다운 화창한 날씨. 최고의 기대를 모으고 있는 닌텐도 wii 전시부쓰. 쌀쌀맞은 뉴요커들과 다르게 역시 LA는 길을 걷다가 눈만 마주치면, "헬로우"를 연발하고, 벤치에만 앉아있어도 쉽게 인사하고 쉽게 말을 시작한다. I♥LA *사진으로만 보면 완전 여유로운 하루인데...ㅠ..ㅠ;; 사실은.. It's been a hard day's night And I've been working like a dog;; 노트북도 한차례 집어던지며 보낸 치열한 하루.
1. brunch with chris. haha. full! i ate these dishes and i couldn't eat anything until 10 at night.
2. LA convention center where E3 was held.
3. a booth for nintendo Wii jammed with people.
4. LA has a really different liveliness, compared with New York. when eye to eye, people say hi! automatically.

the end of business trip May 14, 2006

LA의 스타벅스에서는 주문할때 이름을 물어서 컵에 적고 커피가 완성되면 이름을 불러준다. 나름대로 인기있었던 회사의 홍보용 bag, '쏘이'는 너무 까매서 촛점이 잘안잡힌다. E3가 끝나고 토쿄로 돌아오는 비행기. 일이 꼬이는 바람에 사흘간 매일 4-5시간밖에 못자고 일을 해야했고, 내일은 회사에서 전쟁을 치뤄야 한다. 하지만 많이 배우고, 오랜만에 친구도 만날 수 있었으니까,..NOT BAD.

1. in starbucks in LA, they asked my name when ordering, then they called my name when the coffee was ready.
2. the bag of NCsoft was popular.
3. it's too hard to focus on ssoy because he is too dark.
4. this business trip was so tiring.
