my favorite okinawan cuisine is near my office. as you know, okinawa is famous for GOYA. so they made a sign with only a picture of GOYA. Cute!

this is the menu i recommend: Goya champuru. goya has much vitamins, i heard. they serve 3 litches that i like as dessert. delicious. but i can't recommend this restaurant for dinner. they charge 500yen for a table for one person. anyway lunch is nice. you can enjoy the taste of okinawa in ebisu.

relaxing okinawa 2nd day

okinawa has a relaxing atmosphere; cars go very slowly. there are lion figures in front of the door in every house, various kinds of clouds, festivals with traditional music; the sea is in contact with the Pacific; the sun is dazzling. these aspects made me relaxed.
자동차도 답답할 정도로 느리게 다니는 오키나와는 전체적으로 릴렉스한 분위기다. 집집마다 장식되어 있는 시사와 갖가지 모양의 구름, 태평양까지 맞닿아있는 바다, 강한 태양, 오키나와의 전통음악과 함께 펼쳐지는 마쯔리에 둘러쌓여 RELAX.


end of trip

on the last day we droped in at Nago paradise, Turaumi aquarium, Emerald beach, Busena terrace resort and returned to Tokyo by a night plane. i suffered a few hard days because of my boiled red back, but i have many memories from this trip. i can still hear the melody of traditional okinawan music.
아직도 오키나와의 전통가락이 귓전에 맴돈다. 마지막날엔 나고파라다이스, 츄라우미수족관, 에메랄드비치, 부세나테라스리조트...를 들러서.. 밤비행기로 토쿄에 돌아왔다. 붉게 익어버린 등과 장딴지 때문에 며칠간 고생할 듯 하지만, 즐거운 추억이 있으니까, 나쁘지 않구나.

회사 근처의 오키나와 음식점에서의 런치, 오키나와 요리는 쑤세미같은 종류의 채소, 고야를 계란과 볶은 고야 챰푸르와 두툼하게 썰은 돼지고기요리들이 유명하다. 오키나와식 돼지고기 요리는 이렇게 큰 덩어리로 먹는 것이 보통이지만, 술과 간장양념이 배어있어서, 느끼하지 않고, 육질도 부드럽다. 오키나와 맥주인 Orion을 곁들여 마시면 금상첨화.
